Welcome! This year the NAACP celebrates its 101st Anniversary. We will celebrate this anniversary by continuing to improve, and by fighting for the civil rights of all people. Check out our Calendar and Events pages to see what we are doing. 

If you are not a member, please join. Membership is the lifeblood of our organization and we need your help on our team. Please join us in the important mission of the NAACP. See our mission statement at the bottom of this page. Finally, we need your donations. The work of the NAACP costs money and we know that you will agree that You are worth it! Please donate today (see address below)!

Mission:  The mission of the Liberty County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to assist in the elimination of racial hatred and racial discrimination. 

Vision Statement:  The vision of the Liberty County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure Liberty County is a community that fosters positive relations in which all citizens have equal access and rights to advancement and prosperity without experiencing racial discrimination or racial hatred.

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Barbara Ann Frazier Wooley. Mrs. Wooley is the sister of Liberty County NAACP Branch WIN Chairman, Mrs. Dorothy Lewis. Mrs. Wooley passed on Wednesday July 8, 2009 in Troy New York.

NAACP Rally supporting our Pembroke Brethrens who are marching against the injustice that was meted out by the Pembroke Police Department and the Bryan County Sheriff Department on April 14, 2009.

We will depart from Hinesville Wal-Mart Super Center parking lot at 4:30Ppm or you can meet us in Pembroke at the Gateway Behavioral parking area.

It is with deep regret that we must announce the passing of President Singletary's grandmother

(Mrs. Ella"Bessie" Pinckney).

Mrs. Pickney passed away Sunday, May 17th. God allowed her to live 106 years.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday May 21st at 12:00 noon at the Baptist Center on Johns Island, SC.
